How to Build Consistent AI Campaign Visuals Across a Brand

A practical production framework for maintaining art direction, product truth, people, scenes and campaign coherence across AI-assisted assets.

01

Why single images are not a visual system

Creating one compelling AI image is a useful beginning, but most campaigns require an entire family of assets. A brand launch may involve a website hero, a vertical social edit, product stills, a film sequence and variations for several markets. If each image is generated independently, the campaign can drift in lighting, tone, people, product details and typography. The result may be visually busy but strategically weak. Consistency is not about making every asset identical; it is about making every asset recognizably part of one idea. That principle applies whether the underlying technique is photography, CGI, generative AI or a combination.

02

Write down the fixed variables

Start by distinguishing fixed variables from creative variables. Brand marks, package shape, approved colors, product names, mandatory claims and protected characters should have their own fidelity rules. Art direction includes repeatable choices in contrast, lens feel, environment, composition, skin treatment and motion rhythm. Meanwhile, locations, crops and supporting details can change when they help the communication. A clear production brief should state which elements cannot drift and who approves exceptions. Without that distinction, a creative team may spend more time correcting uncontrolled variation than making useful content.

03

Build a controlled reference library

A reference library makes direction tangible. Collect approved source photography, packaging masters, brand typography, color references, storyboards and example scenes. Label each item by what it proves: product accuracy, mood, wardrobe, lens choice, camera angle or environment. Keep the original assets separate from exploratory generations so reviewers know which files are authoritative. A small group of approved anchor frames can become the visual benchmarks for the full campaign. Do not assume that matching a prompt guarantees matching output; compare results visually and use compositing or retouching when needed.

04

Review consistency as a set

Review the asset set as a system, not as a gallery of individual favorites. Place representative frames side by side and ask whether their world feels coherent. Check shadows and reflections, relative scale, anatomy, faces, clothing, background architecture and repeated objects. Examine whether the campaign line and product hierarchy remain legible at intended sizes. Someone responsible for the brand should make the final judgement. For film, inspect shot-to-shot character and location continuity; a frame can look convincing alone but fail when two adjacent scenes contradict each other.

05

Plan campaign adaptations deliberately

Adaptation deserves its own plan. A square feed image and a vertical story are not merely different crops of the same composition. Each needs space for copy, product focus and platform UI. Localization may require different claims, type lengths or cultural references. Establish a master visual hierarchy first, then prepare channel-specific layouts while retaining the campaign's repeated signals. Export naming, version control and an approval log may sound unglamorous, but they help an AI-driven production remain useful after the creative team hands over the assets.

06

Protect the brand world through delivery

At @126 LABS, the aim is to make AI an extension of art direction rather than a collection of disconnected outputs. An original editorial such as Dreamlight Reverie demonstrates a shared approach to lighting, skin detail and atmospheric coherence. Commercial projects require additional brand- and product-specific controls. Clients preparing a multi-asset campaign can save valuable review time by supplying clear source materials and identifying who owns approvals before any generation begins. The result is a more directed visual system, not simply more images.
